ABOUT ME

Hello, everyone!

My name is Claudia, and I help law professionals improve their legal English skills and boost their career prospects. 

As an Italian lawyer with Canadian roots, I've always had a passion for language and law. After graduating in law in Italy and working in a law firm in London for a year, I started teaching legal English in 2012.

In addition to being a qualified TEFL teacher, I'm also a TOLES training and examination centre, meaning that I can help you prepare for the internationally recognised Test of Legal English Skills exams.

Over the years, I've had the privilege of teaching judges, lawyers, and law students from different countries, and I'm proud to say that my students have always achieved great results in the legal English field.

But legal English isn't just about learning the technical language of the law. It's about understanding the culture and context behind legal language, and that's where I come in. I always do my best to make sure my classes are engaging, interactive, and, dare I say it, fun!

I design lessons that are interactive and practical, with a focus on real-life scenarios and case studies. Students who attend my courses have the opportunity to practice legal English skills through role-plays, debates, and written assignments and receive personalised feedback and guidance throughout the course, which is invaluable to help them reach their full potential.

In 2020, I decided to specialise as a legal English translator, and I attended a postgraduate university course which has given me even more insight into the intricacies of legal English.
